SENTIMENTAL EVE
Throughout our lives, we all navigate the turbulent waves of emotion—wandering, despair, and hope—striving toward a destination called "happiness." However, the perfect paradise we dream of is like a mirage: seemingly within reach, yet slipping away the moment we think we’ve arrived.
This project focuses on the irony that the greed to find paradise through external achievements is precisely what creates a "spiritual ordeal." There is no such thing as eternal happiness in the outside world. I aim to use visual metaphors to depict our weary journey—a cycle that repeats endlessly until one finally realizes that the key lies within.
우리는 누구나 삶의 과정에서 방황, 절망, 희망 등 수많은 감정의 파도를 겪으며 '행복'이라는 목적지를 향해 나아갑니다. 하지만 우리가 꿈꾸는 완벽한 행복(낙원)은 손에 잡힐 듯하면서도, 막상 도달하면 다시 저 멀리 달아나 버리곤 합니다. 영원한 행복이란 존재하지 않으며, 외부의 성취를 통해 낙원에 도달하려는 욕심이 곧 '감정의 고행'을 만든다는 점에 주목합니다. 스스로 그 굴레를 깨닫기 전까지는 결코 끝나지 않고 반복되는 우리들의 고단한 여정을 시각적 메타포로 표현하고자 합니다
